Yet, He spoke of a Kingdom that was now here, but not complete. This tension confused everyone then, and it still confuses us today.  In this series, we continue reading Isaiah and Matthew in parallel to explore a startling truth: Jesus' parables were meant to be as mysterious as the prophecies before them—designed to reveal his message of the kingdom to those with open minds. As He said, "Whoever has ears to hear, let them hear."
